Privacy Policy

1. The short version
Eisenhower Matrix (the "app") is a local-first, single-user app. There is no sign-up, no login and no cloud sync. Everything you type stays on your device and is never sent to any server.
2. What we do not collect
The app does not collect or ask for any of the following:
- Your name, email address or phone number
- Account credentials or passwords
- Location
- Contacts, photos or files
- Device identifiers used to track you
3. What is stored on your device
The following is kept in your device's own storage (a Room database and the app's settings) and nowhere else:
- The title, notes, importance and urgency of the items you create
- Due dates, reminders, repeat rules, tags, stars and archive state
- App settings such as theme, start screen and default sort
None of this leaves the app. Neither the developer nor any third party can reach it.
4. Permissions
- Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS) — used to show the reminders you set. It is only requested the first time you set one, and declining it leaves every other feature working.
- Exact alarms (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM) — used so a reminder arrives at the minute you asked for.
- Boot completed (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED) — used to re-arm your pending reminders after the device restarts.
- Vibrate (VIBRATE) — used for reminder vibration and completion feedback.
The app does not request the internet permission, so sending your data over a network is not technically possible.
5. Third parties and advertising
The app does not share, sell or transfer your data to third parties. No analytics or advertising SDK reads the contents of your items.
6. Deleting your data
In the app, Settings → Data lets you delete finished items, archived items, or everything. Uninstalling the app removes all of its stored data with it.
7. Children's privacy
The app collects no personal information at all, and therefore collects none from children either.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated text and a new "last updated" date will be posted on this page.
